Today has been a really lazy day so far, I’m currently chillin’ on the sofa with la familia watching movies and munching on left-over food from last nights festivities. Enjoying this down time though because the start of my weekend was really hectic.

So, Friday morning I went to the airport with my sister to pick up my aunty, who travelled all the way from Ireland to surprise my mum for her birthday and be with her on her special day. I’d been hiding it from my mum for weeks, she’d been grilling me with questions and sussing me out which started getting really annoying lol. We spent the rest of the day eating, doing groceries, cleaning and shopping. Mum got super spoilt, she deserves it! (Louis Vuitton Never Full handbag, thanks to her sister; DeLonghi automatic coffee machine, from Dad, sister and I; and some goodies from YSL amongst other things)

Yesterday was my mum’s 50th birthday and we celebrated with a luau (Hawaiian feast). The tables and decorations were set up a few days before (thank goodness, because we were so busy on the day!). There was an abundance of food, loud music, disco lights, photos, performances and a big smile on my mum’s face (which is all that mattered)… so I guess it’s safe to say it was an awesome night! :) <3
